Do you have a "Hiding Place"?

I was listening to Stephen Curtis Chapman's Greatest Hits CD on Sunday! He is my FAVORITE Christian artist. In fact, the very first Christian music I ever bought was his (but that is a post for another day!!)

I heard a song of his that I have not heard in a long time. It's called Hiding Place. You can listen to a "snipit" of it on the link below:

Here are the chorus to the song and the story behind the song as well:

Stephen wrote this song a few weeks before the apartment that he and his wife and daughter were living in was destroyed by fire. He says that it was a devastating time in his life and this song and words of Scripture from Psalm 32 were precious gift from God. “You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance.” Psalm 32:7

Stephen Curtis Chapman - Hiding Place

You're my hiding place;
Safe in your embrace,
I'm protected from the storm that rages
When the waters rise,
And I run to hide;
Lord, in You I find my hiding place.
