We, as a family, don't make it to many movies. That is really for two reasons: (1) there is not much that we think is worth seeing, and (2) it is expensive to go to the regular theater to see a movie!
But a week or so ago, we saw a great family movie called "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs". Yes, we know the title is weird but it will make sense once you see the movie! And because of the generosity of our family, we got to see it for FREE since they provided some free passes for us!
You can see the three kids wearing their "3-D Glasses". Yes, God was so good that we got to see it for free, see in in 3-D, see in in an IMAX theater, and have the whole theater to ourselves (it was on a Tuesday night and there were not many folks seeing ANYTHING that night!!)
The movie is geared toward kids but has some good messages: about the relationship between father and son, about being yourself instead of what others think you should be, and about doing the right thing and not just the popular thing.
