The Bible says in Psalm 19 that
"The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they display knowledge." Well, if you have ever been to the top of a mountain to look out over the surrounding area, you have experienced first-hand what that scripture means!
That is what my son, Caleb, and I did last weekend. We climbed a local "mountain" here call Pinnacle Mountain. And while it is only 994 feet tall, it provides some spectacular views of the Arkansas River and the surrounding area.
We had a great time that day! We encourage you to get out the Fall an enjoy all the Lord has created!
On our way up - Caleb doing some "rock climbing and jumping"!
At the top. That is a high power line in the background.
Great views from the top!
Lots of birds soaring on the breezes at the top!
Caleb found a "friend" at the top. He loves animals!!
A "self-portrait" of us at the top. It was 87 degrees that day!
And to finish it all off, a little fun on the playground at the base of Pinnacle Mountain!
