God has a “habit” of doing the unexpected in our lives. And He did that again when we attended a church in the Oklahoma Panhandle area…
On a recent trip, we attended First Baptist Church in Guymon, OK. It was there that we met the Fischer Family. They are a family of 11 (Mom and Dad and 9 kids) and took our family in as if we were their "own family"!!
We met Marilyn (the Mom) and Roger (the Dad) and a few of their kids at the church service. Then, they offered to have us over to their home for lunch after church. We gladly accepted and ended up staying 3 hours to visit with them as the kids played!
We thank the Lord for His Great Provision of the Fischer Family. They were a great encouragement to us and a break from the “expected” on our trip. The kids are already asking, “When can we go back to the Fischer’s House?”
