Our Boys: Track Season has begun!

Homeschool Track Season has begun! Last year, Josh was part of the Flames Team in Little Rock. This year, both Josh and Caleb are part of the team. They had their first meet a week or so back and both of them enjoyed competing!

Both boys competed in the 4x100 relays and the 100 meter sprint. Josh also competed in the 200 meter sprint!

Caleb is in the "elementary boys" group and Josh in in the "Junior High/Middle School" group. They only have 4 meets this year (think we had 6 last year). We are looking forward to seeing both of them AND the rest of the team do their best.

This is Hunter! He was participating the the 400 meter event. He started off with the rest of the boys in a staggered start on the track. But while most of the boys finished in about 1 minute, Hunter continued to persevere AND finish. His time was just under 6 minutes.

What an incredible picture of perseverance! He received a great ovation from the crowd - probably bigger than the boy who WON the race. May Hunter continue to inspire people to do their best and finish the race, no matter the circumstances!
