The first 4 pics you will see below are from our trip to Tennessee and our celebration there with my family (Glen's family) on Tuesday, December 22nd. We had fun and my parents had a houseful with 20 folks including adults and kids.
But then we came home to Little Rock to enjoy "real Christmas" on December 25th with our kids (last 6 pictures below). Shawn said it was a great Christmas because she got to stay in her PJs and robe all day!! We did have fun and really made it a "low-key" Christmas just hanging out at our home and enjoying the day!
In all these celebrations, we are SO THANKFUL that Jesus gives us a reason to celebrate. Christmas is Jesus' birthday but it is so much more. It is the celebration of Emmanuel -- "God with us"!! God loved us so much that He came down and became one of us!! Now that is something to celebrate -- the greatest gift ever!!
