I have been "thinking" about getting an iPod for some time. Have a good friend with one and he is always telling me about the great podcasts he listens to.
Well, I finally took the plunge and bought a refurbished one off Apple's website. I told Shawn and the kids that it was a Father's Day present for myself. And the kids were even happier when I told them that I would share it with them.
It is so convenient to listen to and so easy to use! I listened to a great podcast this morning from RC Sproul and have been also listening to several of the FamilyLife Today broadcasts as well. Can't wait to find out who else's podcast I can download for free!
I am still learning a lot about some of the more advanced ways to use it, but I really like it! Some would say if I was a REALLY COOL Dad, I'd have an iPhone right??!! :) Naaaah!!!
