Our oldest son, Josh, and I left to drive to our Cru Staff Conference in Colorado last week. We took about 2 and a half days to drive out from Little Rock to Fort Collins, Colorado. We had some fun along the way but also were "road weary" at times. We thank the Lord God for allowing us to travel almost 1,200 miles without car problems or accidents or incidents. We thank those of you who prayed as well!
One of the highlights of our trip out was a stop in Colorado Springs! It is so beautiful there as you look up and see the majesty of God's creation in the Rocky Mountains! Well Josh and I decided we wanted to go to the top of Pike's Peak. 10 years ago when the whole Solberg Family was here, we rode the Pike's Peak Cog Railway to the top of the mountain - and we wanted to do that again this time. It was a beautiful 90 minute trip to the top of the mountain and then some really incredible views from the top. It actually rained when we are at the top but it was so cool to be above some of the clouds on top of the mountain!

Josh took a bunch of pictures of the trip up. I may post some of them later but wanted to get a couple of them on our blog. Enjoy!
