Well, God revealed a simple way to do this a few days ago and I thought I would share it with others in hope you can try it too! I take no credit for this --- it was completely a "God Idea" He put in my head!
I had to run to the store the other day to pick up a few items. The store wasn't very busy and no one was behind me in line so I had a chance to visit with the lady who was running the register. My question to her was simple: Are you ready for Christmas yet? A question many of us probably ask others frequently during this season of the year. But there was a twist....
After the lady told me about buying her presents and getting them to the post office to mail to her kids and grandkids, I asked her this: Are you ready for the REAL GIFT of Christmas - Jesus? I wasn't sure what her response would be...but I was ready to tell her about Jesus if God opened the opportunity. Well, she told me that she was a Christian and that Jesus was what she and her family celebrate each year. She even told me about her kids and grandkids and their church activities. It was a fun 2 minute conversation.
It's as simple as that.....just ask the question....and then the follow-up question (or something similar). See what God does with your desire to tell others.....He will be pleased. And let me know what happened as you gave this a try!
