| Stanton Lanier at FamilyLife on Sept. 26 |
The FamilyLife staff in Little Rock had the great privilege of getting a free concert from Stanton Lanier on Wednesday, Sept. 26th. Stanton has a long term friendship with one of FamilyLife Leaders and made a trip to Little Rock to glorify God through his incredible gift of music!
I had actually never heard of Stanton Lanier before this concert.....but believe me, I will tell lots of folks about him from now on!
Our son, Caleb, who is a piano player himself, came with me to work that day so we could hear the free concert at lunchtime. Stanton took some time with Caleb afterwards (as well as some of the other staff kids) to talk to him about his piano experience and to encourage him to continue learning and growing as a piano player! We ended up buying 3 of his CDs and a music book of one of the CDs so Caleb could begin to learn some of the songs!
