Blog Update - August 2nd

BLOG UPDATE: To those folks who have been following our blog for some time, we want to apologize. We have NOT been updating our posts often enough and we have NOT been giving information, as we promised, on our family. Please forgive us for this!

We have made a new commitment --- to posting to our blog once per week. Our plan is to share two “personal/family” updates along with at least a monthly prayer update and one other post on a Christian topic like marriage, family, or growing in our relationship with God.

Thanks for continuing to follow our blog for updates from The Solbergs. And please let us know you are reading our posts from time to time to encourage us!

OUR FAMILY/OUR STORY...

Glen and Shawn met in early 1992 in Houston, Texas and were married later that year. Shawn finished up her Nursing degree and Glen his Physical Therapy degree shortly after they married. But God had greater plans for Glen and Shawn than helping folks have healthier bodies! After nearly divorcing in 1993, God resurrected thier marriage and called them to the mission field for marriage and family here in the United States. They have been serving with FamilyLife, a division of Campus Crusade for Christ, since 2003. God has blessed them with three beautiful children: Joshua - born in 1996, Sarah - born in 1998, and Caleb - born in 2000.
