Josh and I had the fun of an "11-day Texas Adventure" recently!!  We were headed to Texas for two Weekend to Remember Getaways - the first in Corpus Christi on June 1-3 and the second in Austin on June 8-10.  In between, I also did some FamilyLife work in San Antonio!

But on this day, we took a break from "work" and had fun in San Antonio!  This picture is outside the Alamo!  The hotel we had the privilege of staying in was within a block of the Alamo and the San Antonio Riverwalk.  We got to visit with some friends and some supporters in all three places - and also got to go to a cool place called "The Main Event" in San Antonio!  Our favorite place to eat along the way was a BBQ placed called "The Salt Lick" just south of Austin!

It was a fun trip for both of us.  But after our 10th day, we were both glad to be traveling back to Little Rock and sleeping in our own beds!  Thank You, Lord, for providing a great trip for us!
