I wanted our family to really celebrate Easter this year in a different way. And we were able to do that on Good Friday by having what I would call a "simple Passover Seder meal.
Our meal included unleavened bread, bitter herbs, and a leg of lamb not to mention a few other things. And although it was "simple" compared to all the steps the Israelites celebrated, I think it was meaningful nonetheless.
I also think it helped me, my wife, and our kids better understand the rich meaning behind the passover and Jesus fulfillment as our ultimate Passover Lamb.
If you are interested in doing this with your family, I suggest doing some research on the web. Lots of great info out there for Christians celebrating Passover as well as great recipes to use! Enjoy!
