Round #2 is complete. The Solberg Family traveled up to Branson for a day and half trip back to
Silver Dollar City. This was our second time there this year
(got season passes so wanted to make good use of them) and we really had fun. The staff there told us that after Labor Day and before the middle of October is the best time to come - weather cooling off and very few folks. And they were right! The weather was nice (mid 80's) with little or no humidity and a nice breeze blowing all day! God really came through on the weather! And there was practically no one on the rides. Most rides we could get right back on for a 2nd ride or maybe have to wait 2-3 minutes max!
The one thing we forgot on the trip was our camera.....so the picture below are not ours but some from Silver Dollar City's website. We really enjoyed the rides and even a few of the shows as well.
We are planning to go back one more time before our passes expire. We have heard Silver Dollar City is decorated beautifully for the Christmas Season so we hope to go back in early December to see it!

This is Wildfire - the boys and Shawn rode it many times. My favorite is actually one called Powerderkeg - but couldn't find any pictures of it!!

This is the SDC train. Sarah and I rode it a couple of times. They have a fun show about 1/2 way through with some "would-be robbers". Lots of fun and laughs!!
