18-Wheelers and U-Haul Trucks!!

Question: What do an 18-wheeler and a U-Haul have in common?
Answer: The two of them almost collided last Friday with our family sandwiched in between!!

The Rest of the Story: First of all, I'd like to give the Lord the credit for saving our lives. It was truly a miracle of God that we were not in an accident and seriously injured! Thank You, Lord!!

Our family was coming back from a great lunch with some supporters of ours that were traveling through Little Rock. We came to the major intersection between Interstate 440 and 30 on the southeast side of Little Rock. As we were approaching the intersection (Glen was driving), we saw an U-Haul truck that was exiting off to the left while we were going straight onto I-30 West. We were just in the place where we were going to pass him, when he decided that he did not want to exit and proceeded to pull back into our lane. That would not have been a problem, if the other lane next to us had been empty. But it was not.....it was "full" with an 18-wheeler.

Somehow, literally by the grace of God, we did not get smashed between the two. We are all so thankful to God.

Moments like that make you appreciate the life God has given us each day AND make you aware of his "mighty hand of protection" as well.

May each of you reading this give thanks today for His Hand of protection over you!!
